HOW TO RENEW SSL CERTIFICATE

A number of websites owners are worried about how to renew SSL Certificate. A number of companies offer automated SSL Certificate renewal process which starts alerting you up to sixty days prior to SSL expiration. Click on the renewal link inside email for renewal.

While renewal of SSL Certificate you will need a new CSR for domain and user name and password. For maintaining your internet security you should renew your certificate at least two weeks before expiry date.

A number of servers including Apache servers enables installation of new certificate for an old request but the following servers does not enable you to install a new certificate for an old request such as Tomcat Servers, All Windows Servers and Java-Based Servers.

If case there are any of the above server platforms one should place orders for renewal of SSL Certificate with new CSR.

For renewal of SSL Certificate go ahead and create the CSR and then sign into your account and in case it is available go ahead and select the Get/Renew SSL link which takes you to the products page where there is an option for selecting the required product and options.

In case the Get/Renew button is not available it would be better to select the required product, its options and when presented with the page for the CSR you should sign into your account at this point of time. In case you have purchased SSL Certificates through a reseller it would be better to contact the reseller for renewal.
